Collection: Leveling Compounds

Levelling compounds — self-smoothing floor screeds to get a floor ready for tiling

A floor has to be flat and sound before tiles, vinyl or LVT go down, and a levelling compound is how you get there. Poured over the base, it flows out and self-smooths to a level finish. This collection covers rapid-set compounds by the single bag or the full pallet.

What's in this collection

  • Self-Level Levelling Compound 20kg — rapid-set, self-smoothing compound for evening out a subfloor before a floor finish. Single bag or pallet of 54 for bigger jobs.
  • Fast Flex Floor Levelling Compound 20kg (grey) — rapid-set, flexible, self-smoothing screed for boards and surfaces that move slightly. Single bag or pallet of 54.

Getting a level floor

  • Prime first. Bare concrete and boards need the right primer, or the compound won't bond and can lift later.
  • Mix to the maker's water ratio — too wet and it's weak and slow, too dry and it won't flow.
  • Work in bays and keep a wet edge. Rapid-set compounds go off fast, so mix only what you can lay.
  • On timber or flexing floors, use the flexible (Fast Flex) grade so the surface doesn't crack.
  • Coverage and maximum depth per bag: [VERIFY: m² per 20kg bag and min/max thickness from the product data sheet].
