General Tools

General trade hand tools: retractable knives & handsaws that earn their place in the van

The two hand tools you reach for every day: a decent utility knife and a saw that cuts straight. This collection covers both: pro-grade retractable knives with proper locking mechanisms, and hardpoint handsaws that stay sharp through job after job. Trade-tier tools, not shed rubbish that snaps on the third cut.

About this range

What's in this collection

  • Retractable Utility Knives. Sliding-blade and folding-blade options with locking mechanisms so the blade doesn't collapse mid-cut. Metal bodies for grip and durability. Trapezoid-blade compatible so replacement blades are cheap and easy to find (see our Consumables collection for the tubs).
  • Handsaws. Hardpoint-tooth saws for fast, aggressive cuts in timber, MDF, plasterboard and softwood battens. Comfortable ergonomic grips that don't blister after a full day's use. Sold at trade prices, not DIY-shed markup.
