Collection: Steel Frame Fixing Lugs

Steel frame fixing lugs — 202mm brackets for uPVC windows and doors

Fixing lugs are how you fit a uPVC frame without drilling straight through it. They screw to the back of the frame, then fix into the reveal — so there are no fixing holes through the face to seal, and no risk of splitting or distorting the frame. This collection is the 202mm steel lug in pack sizes from 5 up to 100.

What's in this collection

The same 202mm galvanised-steel frame fixing lug, in packs to match the job:

  • Pack of 5 — a single window
  • Packs of 10 and 25 — a few openings
  • Packs of 50 and 100 — a full house or a site run

Fitting frame lugs

  • Clip or screw the lugs to the frame before it goes in, spaced up the jambs and across the head.
  • Keep them back from the corners, and add one near each locking point so the frame can't flex.
  • Pack and level the frame in the opening first, then fix the lugs back to solid reveal — not just the plaster.
  • Lugs keep the frame face clear, so all you seal afterwards is the perimeter, not a row of screw holes.
