Getting the best out of foam adhesive

  • Board adhesive foam is low-expansion for a reason — it holds the board without pushing it off line. Standard gap foam isn't a substitute.
  • Run beads, offer the board up, then plumb and level it while the foam is still grabbing.
  • For repeat work, the gun-grade can wins — better control, less waste, and you can leave the can on between uses.
  • Wear gloves. Cured PU foam does not come off skin easily.
