Damp proof course — DPC rolls in every trade width

DPC is the flexible strip that sits in a mortar joint and stops ground moisture wicking up into the wall above. Skip it, or lap it wrong, and you get rising damp, spoiled plaster and rotten skirtings a season later. This collection is DPC in the full run of trade widths, all rolled at 30m.

What's in this collection

Widths match the wall thickness:

  • 100mm for a single skin
  • 150mm for a standard cavity leaf
  • 300mm and 450mm for wider walls, cavity trays and cloaking
  • 600mm for the widest sections and detailing

Every roll is 30m — enough for a full run without a join.

Laying DPC so it actually works

  • Sit it a good height above finished ground level so splashback can't bridge it.
  • Lap joints generously — more at corners — and bed it on fresh mortar so it can't slip.
  • Never let plaster, render or a path bridge over the DPC. That's the classic route for damp to climb straight past it.
  • Link it to the DPM under the floor, so wall and floor protection run as one continuous barrier.
