Capital Valley black damp proof membrane, 4m x 25m – 300mu (1200 gauge). The standard-weight DPM for under-slab and oversite damp protection.
The everyday under-floor membrane: laid over the oversite before the slab goes down, it stops ground moisture rising into the concrete and the finish above. At 300 micron / 1200 gauge it's the standard trade weight for most domestic floors, and the long 4m x 25m roll covers a big area with fewer joins. BBA accredited and compliant with the minimum standard under UK Building Regulations.

Lay on a blinded, level surface, lap sheets generously and tape the joints, and turn it up to lap onto the DPC so floor and wall protection join up. For rougher ground or a higher-grade spec, step up to the 2000-gauge membrane. Tape joints with our aluminium foil tape.
