Capital Valley damp proof course (DPC), 150mm x 30m. A flexible DPC that blocks rising damp in brick, block and stone walls.
DPC sits in a mortar joint at the base of a wall, and around openings, and stops ground moisture wicking up into the brickwork above. This is the 150mm width – the standard width for a single leaf of a cavity wall or a one-brick wall. Made from 100% recycled polythene, it's durable and environmentally friendly, guaranteed to meet British Building Regulations, with an embossed finish for better mortar adhesion. Works in both horizontal and vertical runs.

Bed it on fresh mortar, sit it at least 150mm above finished ground level, and lap joints generously so damp can't track through. Never let plaster, render or a path bridge over it, and link it to the DPM under the floor for continuous protection. Narrower walls take the 100mm; wider walls and cavity trays the 300mm or 450mm.
