Made for stairs: 24ft long runs a full flight, 3ft wide covers the tread width. Cotton drapes over the steps and grips better than slippery polythene, and it soaks up drips instead of letting them pool. Breathable, reusable and washable – shake it out and use it again on the next job.

Run it down the flight and tuck or tape the edges so it can't slide underfoot – a loose sheet on stairs is a slip risk. Cotton breathes, so it won't trap damp under it like plastic can. For flat floors, use a standard dust sheet.
