Broadfix flat packers, 1–5mm – box of 1,000. A bulk box of colour-coded plastic packers in mixed thicknesses for levelling, packing and spacing.
The bulk box for anyone packing out frames and fixings all day – a mixed 1,000 of colour-coded packers so you always have the right thickness to build up to an exact gap. Made from recycled plastic: 100% waterproof, won't shrink, swell or rot, and takes higher compression than a timber shim.

Stack packers to reach an exact gap and pack close to the fixing point so the load bears on the packer, not fresh air. Waterproof, so they're fine external and in damp spots. For a smaller quantity, the mixed bag is handier on the van.
