The JCP SDS Plus drill bit is a tungsten carbide-tipped masonry bit, 6.0mm diameter by 260mm long, for drilling concrete, brick, stone and block.
6.0mm is one of the most-used sizes on site, right for frame fixings and 6mm anchors, and the 260mm length reaches through thick material into the masonry behind. The SDS Plus shank locks straight into a rotary hammer so the hammer action drives the bit, while the flute clears dust fast to keep the carbide tip cutting and cool.

For frame-fixing through timber or uPVC into masonry, and general anchor work. Let the hammer drive it and back the bit out now and then to clear a deep hole rather than leaning on it. Need a standard depth instead? A 210mm bit is stiffer for shallow holes.
