John George drywall screws, fine thread (loose) – for plasterboard onto metal or timber. Bugle-head drywall screws with a sharp point and a fine thread, sold loose.
Fine thread is made to bite into metal – it grips a light-gauge steel stud or track where a coarse thread would spin, and it still drives into timber battens too. The bugle head sets just below the board paper without tearing it. Black phosphate finish for interior, dry work.
