Same tough, flexible design as the 20L – soft sides that shrug off a kicking and let you tip and pour cleanly – but at 40L it's built for the bigger jobs: full mixes of muck, moving more spoil, or a large general-purpose site tub. Flexible plastic that outlasts a standard rigid bucket by a mile.

Flex the sides to pop out set material instead of chipping it. For small to medium batches, the 20L is the handier size. Don't overfill a trug you'll have to lift – 40L of wet muck is heavy.
