Penny (repair) washers, zinc-plated, M12 – box of 500. The widest of the common penny washers, for M12 bolts carrying real load into or through timber.
At M12 you're usually into heavier work – coach bolts, structural timber connections, brackets and hangers. A big bolt with a plain washer just drives its head into the timber; the penny washer's large outside diameter spreads that clamping force so the joint stays tight and the timber isn't crushed around the hole.

Best fitted under both the head and the nut when bolting through timber, and paired with M12 coach or hex bolts and nuts. For exterior or damp jobs, go galvanised or stainless instead – BZP is a dry-interior finish.
