Penny (repair) washers, zinc-plated, M5 – box of 800. The small wide-diameter washer that stops an M5 bolt or screw pulling through thin or soft material.
M5 is a light fixing, but through thin sheet, plasterboard or soft timber even a small head can pull straight through under load. The penny washer's wide face spreads that load over a bigger footprint, so the fixing holds instead of tearing the material.

- Finish: bright zinc plated (BZP) – for interior/dry use

Fit one under the head and one under the nut through thin material, and pair with an M5 bolt or set screw and nut. Outdoors or in damp, choose galvanised or stainless – zinc plating is a dry-interior finish.
