Bond It external plasterers' pregrit, 10L – waterproof. A ready-to-use external bonding primer that keys smooth walls for render and cuts suction on porous ones.
Render needs the wall prepared two ways: a key on smooth surfaces so it grips, and controlled suction on porous ones so it doesn't dry too fast and crack. This one-part, extra-grip pregrit does both, with added aggregate for the key. Waterproof, for exterior use on concrete, brickwork and light blockwork, and light green so you can see what's been treated.

Apply one even coat over the whole elevation and let it cure before rendering. Cover fully – the green tint shows any missed areas. For internal plastering, use the internal (yellow) pregrit.
