What's in this collection

• Capital Valley DPC Rolls (Damp Proof Course) — the flexible polymer strip that goes in mortar joints, at the base of walls and around openings, to block rising damp. Available in the standard trade widths (100mm, 150mm, 225mm, 300mm, 450mm) to match the wall thickness. Rolled at 30m lengths for full-run installs without joins.
• Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) — heavy-gauge polythene sheeting for under-slab floor installs, oversite protection and vapour control. Black polythene, 1200 gauge / 300 micron standard trade weight, in 4m×25m and 4m×12.5m roll sizes.
• CT1 BW1 Tanking Membrane — one-part waterproofing membrane for wet rooms, bathrooms, basements and below-ground brickwork. TRIBRID® polymer tech, anti-bacterial, applied by brush or roller. The pro's choice for internal tanking jobs.
• Aluminium Foil Tape — reflective self-adhesive tape for sealing DPM joints, taping vapour barriers, sealing service penetrations, and repairing damp-proofing damage. Also handles insulation joints and ductwork.

DPC vs DPM — the difference that matters

Trade buyers often mix these up. DPC (Damp Proof Course) goes in walls — laid in a mortar joint to block moisture wicking up from the ground into brickwork. DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) goes under floors — laid over the oversite/hardcore before the slab is poured, blocking rising damp through the floor. Most builds need both.
